Covenant Missions Fund
Did you know that the Covenant Association budget contains a line item for missions? What does “mission” include? Well, it can be just about anything that your church is doing or plans to do to serve your local community. Perhaps you have a program to help children or seniors with food or clothing, maybe you offer services to people with disabilities, or you could be considering an outreach program for troubled teens. If you could use some financial support (and who couldn’t?), the Association would like to help.
Each year your Association budgets $2,000 to support local church missions. Grants of up to $500 per program can be awarded once each calendar year. Until now, there was no formal means of applying for these funds, and most churches probably did not even know that the mission funds exist.
The Association Executive Committee has developed an application form that should be used to identify outreach programs and request funding. Use the download button to save the file to your computer, then print it out, complete it, and return a photo or scanned document to Steve Schory, Association Moderator, or Tom Wright, Treasurer. The Executive Committee will review your application at the next regularly scheduled committee meeting.
