Choir Director/Piano Player

Falkner Swamp UCC in Gilbertsville is seeking a choir director/ piano player. We may be small, but we have an enthusiastic choir who love to sing to the Lord! We are looking for someone who can give us 3–4 hours a week (rehearsal and some Sunday morning worship services). Choir Director/Pianist

St Paul’s UCC, Kutztown, is looking for a Choir Director / Pianist.

Job Description

  • Choir practice every Thursday evening (7:30 to 8:30) from the Thursday after Labor Day until the end of June. Practice 30 minutes before worship service on Sunday.

  • Coordinate music with the Worship Committee for special service

  • Accompany choir on piano

  • Fill in for organist’s vacations

  • Growth in the Sunday school program would initiate the need for a Junior Choir (this would entail a pay increase)

  • Choice Director is a member of the Worship Committee, which meets monthly

  • Responsible for piano maintenance, regular tuning

  • Responsible for monitoring the filling the piano humidifier with distilled water as needed
